dendrix
What it does
Section titled “What it does”dendrix provides a platform for the community to contribute, discover, and consume Dendritic modules hosted on user repositories:
- Community-submitted — modules authored and maintained by their original authors from their repositories, no barrier of entry
- Dendrix Trees — aspect import-trees from community repositories
- Ecosystem index — a catalog of all Dendritic projects and libraries
The Vision
Section titled “The Vision”Just as NUR gives the Nix community a place to share packages, dendrix aims to be the place to share composable configurations. Instead of copying snippets from dotfiles repos, you import well-tested, parameterized aspects that work across NixOS, Darwin, and Home-Manager.
Current Status
Section titled “Current Status”dendrix has the infrastructure in place — CI, templates, documentation, and the ecosystem guide. Its success depends on community participation. This is where sponsorship makes the biggest difference: funding dedicated time to build the community, review contributions, and create starter aspects that attract more contributors.
